MIRAD was established in 1985 in order to ensure fair practice in the Registration Number Industry. A Member of the Institute of Registrations Agents and Dealers has to adhere to a strict Code of Practice.
The code exists to protect any person or business using the services of a member, whether buying or selling. The DVLA support MIRAD's endeavour to maintain and improve industry standards.
Every year, traders in registrations apply to be a MIRAD member but are declined. Only dealers that are known to have a good trade history can apply with minimum of 2 current MIRAD references to the Secretary. If acceptable, the application will go forward to a vote at the next Annual General meeting.
In 2020 MIRAD are proud to be in their 35th year assisting the public and businesses all over the world with any registration queries.
